Celebrating Africa’s Most Educative Creative Content in Film, Music & Comedy
Education goes beyond the four walls of a classroom. In today’s digital age, entertainment has emerged as a powerful tool for informal learning, value shaping, and societal transformation. The Prestige Africa Education Awards (PAEA) 2025 recognizes the game-changers in Africa’s entertainment space who use their platforms to educate, enlighten, and inspire.
Africa’s creative industry is one of the fastest-growing in the world, with films, songs, and comedy reaching millions daily. However, only a few intentionally use these platforms for education, awareness, and positive change. This award celebrates those who do—those who are bold enough to educate while entertaining.
Honors a feature film, documentary, or short film that delivers powerful educational messages—whether related to history, culture, health, environment, youth development, or civic responsibility. Entries must demonstrate impact, relevance, storytelling quality, and authenticity.
Recognizes a song with strong educational themes—covering topics such as literacy, ethics, patriotism, culture, academic excellence, or social issues. The winning piece will be assessed based on its message clarity, musical appeal, reach, and public engagement.
Awarded to a stand-up performance, skit, show, or online content that entertains while educating the audience on important societal or academic issues. From financial literacy to public health awareness, the best entries make us laugh and think at the same time.
