At the Prestige Africa Education Awards, fairness, integrity, and excellence are at the heart of our evaluation process. We have carefully designed a three-tier judging framework that ensures credibility while balancing expert review with public participation.
Evaluation Process
1. Jury Evaluation – 70% Weighting
The Jury consists of 75 distinguished educators, researchers, and thought leaders from across Africa.
Each Jury member is assigned categories in which no nominee comes from their country, ensuring neutrality.
Evaluation is based on evidence, impact reports, documented achievements, and measurable contributions submitted by nominees.
Jury scores account for 70% of the total nominee score.
2. Public Voting – 30% Weighting
Public voting empowers students, parents, alumni, and the general public to actively participate in recognizing excellence.
Votes are collected via a secure online platform to prevent duplication or bias.
This process ensures that nominees with real influence and community impact gain recognition.
Public votes contribute 30% of the total nominee score.
3. Judges’ Panel – Final Decision
Comprising 39 eminent personalities including education policymakers, international experts, and iconic leaders from across Africa.
The Judges receive the combined Jury + Public voting scores.
Their role is to:
Validate the process for transparency.
Review supporting evidence and records.
Confirm the final winners in each award category.
Final Formula:
Total Score = (70% Jury) + (30% Public Voting) → Reviewed by Judges Panel → Official Winners Announced
This structure ensures that winners are chosen through a balance of expert assessment, community recognition, and credible validation, making the Prestige Africa Education Awardsthe most transparent and respected honors in African education.
