About PAEA

From a National Dream to a Continental Force in Education

The Prestige Africa Education Awards (PAEA) began as a visionary initiative in Nigeria, where the need to spotlight excellence in education had long been overshadowed by the challenges of the sector. What started as the Prestige Nigeria Education Awards grew into a credible national platform, celebrating passionate educators, reformers, and institutions driving impact across Nigerian schools and communities.

With resounding success in its earlier editions, strong partnerships, and the power of storytelling, the awards steadily evolved. By 2025, the vision expanded beyond borders — birthing the Prestige Africa Education Awards, a continental celebration of excellence, innovation, and transformational leadership in education across all 54 African countries.
